How It All Started
Founded by Guillermo Cruz-Rico, our firm bridges Mexican and Canadian law. In 2000, Mr. Cruz Rico earned his law degree in Mexico; in 2005, he relocated to Toronto. In 2006, he served as in-house counsel with Greenspan Partners, a leading criminal defence firm in Toronto. In 2007, he was accredited as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Ontario to provide services under Mexican law, and in 2014 he was called to the Bar of Ontario. That same year, he founded MC Law Firm—Toronto’s first practice dedicated to Mexican and Canadian law.
