Since 2014, he has served as the principal of MC Law Office, the first boutique firm dedicated to both Mexican and Canadian law, with offices in Toronto and Mexico City.

 

In 2007, he obtained his Foreign Legal Consultant permit for Mexico, allowing him to assist Canadians in criminal defence, commercial law, and other cross-border legal matters. Pursuing dual legal accreditation, he completed the rigorous National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process, demonstrating proficiency in 14 legal subjects. In 2014, he was called to the Ontario Bar, officially becoming licensed in both jurisdictions.

 

Throughout his career, Luis Guillermo Cruz Rico has handled high-profile cases, collaborated with some of the brightest legal minds in Mexico and Canada, and successfully argued cases before courts in both countries.
